From BOLOGNA: (motor way) to Firenze exit "Firenze SCANDICCI", than you take freeway FIRENZE -PISA-LIVORNO you look (FI-PI-LI) direction Pisa exit S.Miniato ( TURN ON THE RIGHT ), first direction ON THE RIGHT Pontedera, about 5km, to the 3° traffic-light on the left you take for LA SERRA, CORAZZANO, MONTAIONE.When you arrive to La Serra turn right and immediately left (because in that point the signal is not very clear) when you arrived in CORAZZANO cross the village and after 1 km on the right take for COLLEGALLI start the country road you go strait on for 300 meters and on the right you see the signal for VALLACCHI 1.5 km you are here GOOD TRIP!

From SIENA: In Siena motorway to Firenze exit Poggibonsi, than you take direction Certaldo - Castelfiorentino, well when you arrive in Castelfiorentino first direction (left and right) Empoli you go strait on for two km and you take for Empoli again when you arrive to the 1° traffic light on the left you have the signal for S. Miniato about 15 km you arrive at the Stop you take left for Montaione, about 200 meters on the right start the country road you go strait on for 300 meters and on the right you see the signal for VALLACCHI 1,5 km you are here GOOD TRIP
By air or train:
From Pisa and Firenze get the train up to S.Miniato.
From Siena get the train up to Castelfiorentino.

The Family
Hello, we are the Minesi family: Loredana, Massimo and our daughter Marta.
Originally we came from Milano in Nothern Italy. We bought Vallacchi in 1989 to make our dream reality to have a place for living outside the big city. At that time Marta was one and a half years old and we wanted to give her a place where she could grow up in harmony.
During the first four years we came all weekends and all the holidays to Vallacchi to restore our new domicile. There were so many things to do, because the buildings were purged due to the fact that for more than 40 years nobody had lived there.
In the year 1993 we decided to settle in Vallacchi, but unfortunately the work was not finished, so we had to live for eight months in a caravan until the first appartement was ready to move into. (Today this is GELSOMINO and ROSA).
Altogether we renovated the house for 10 years until our first guests could come in the year 2000.
2002 we built our swimming-pool.
We want to offer to our guests a place, where they can live a time of balance and harmony with the surrounding nature and its colors - together with us and our animals in a rural environment.
Vallacchi is not a hotel; it is a bed and breakfast country house, in which a family lives. But into this house we invite you heartily.
